If asbestos is confirmed but stable, then a re-inspection will be required at least every five years for all commercial and industrial sites. If any asbestos identified is not in pristine condition, recommendations will be reported to cover all remedial works in order to reduce or eliminate any risks.

An asbestos register is a document that lists all identified—or assumed—asbestos. The Work Health and Safety Act of 2011 outlines the necessary procedures that are required for the safe and responsible identification and disposal of asbestos material from commercial and residential sites.
This is an elementary explanation of a document that spans hundreds of pages as these documents can be confusing and hard to understand by those outside of the industry. Our registers will include but not be limited to the asbestos:

Unlike Asbestos cement boards, which are durable, stable and relatively safe when intact, LDB may not be. Most buildings that contain LDB were most likely built before 1983 when its use was phased out.
LDB is hazardous, and can contain up to 70% asbestos fibre. It is a soft material that can be indented with the firm application of a fingernail, and it may be difficult to identify whether a product is LDB, or other construction material without laboratory analysis.
This makes it vital that the board be identified by asbestos specialists like the team here at AHI Asbestos Consultants. The unstable or “friable” nature of this board, can present significant health risks when someone is exposed to, or inhales the fibres or dust of this product.
Due to this risk, this material must be removed by licenced asbestos removalists under federal and state SafeWork laws and regulations. If you think you have found friable asbestos on your property or work site, the team here at AHI Asbestos Consultants can advise on all steps required for its safe and responsible encapsulation, isolation or removal.
